Obituary: Vicky Foote Brewer Levey

Mount Morris/Nunda, NY—Vicky Foote Brewer Levey died on May 31, 2020, at 67. She was a beloved Mount Morris and Nunda community member known for her generous spirit and dedication to her family and friends.

Vicky was born on June 20, 1952, and grew up in Mount Morris. She graduated from Mount Morris Central School in 1970 and built a life filled with love, kindness, and community service. Her commitment to helping others was evident in her many years of volunteer work and participation in local organizations.

She is survived by her husband, John Levey; her children, Mark Brewer, Lisa Brewer, and Emily Levey; and her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Vicky’s family remembers her as a loving mother and grandmother who always put her family first and had a remarkable ability to make everyone around her feel unique and loved.

Vicky was also an avid gardener and loved spending time in her garden, nurturing her plants and flowers. Her home was always filled with the beauty and fragrance of her garden, reflecting her love for nature and her artistic spirit.

A memorial service will be held on June 6, 2020, at 11 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Mount Morris, where Vicky was a devoted member for many years. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life and share their memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mount Morris Library or the Nunda Historical Society, organizations close to Vicky’s heart.

Vicky Foote Brewer Levey will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and community spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
